Edge Server System
This section provides an detailed explanation of edge system overview.

Introduction
The Edge Device System integrates sound analysis technology directly into end devices, enabling efficient local data processing. This reduces network bandwidth usage and latency, providing a better user experience.
For example, sending audio clips from each microphone device to the server requires 280kbps of bandwidth. As the number of devices increases, so do bandwidth requirements. In contrast, the Edge Device System reduces bandwidth usage to approximately 1kbps, which is only 0.35% of the bandwidth used in established methods.
Edge Device - AI Sound Box
Our edge server system uses the AI Sound Box, which is specifically designed for audio processing and event detection. The AI Sound Box provides optimal performance for sound analysis with dedicated hardware specifications.

For detailed hardware specifications and capabilities, please refer to our AI Sound Box Specifications.
Network Connectivity
Ethernet
- Required for stable and reliable connection
- Recommended for optimal performance
Note: For Wi-Fi or LTE/other network connectivity requirements, please contact our support team to discuss your specific needs.
Power Supply Options
Power over Ethernet (PoE)

- Strongly recommended for efficiency and stability
- Supplies both power and internet connectivity through a single UTP cable
- Allows for installation without specialized electrical skills, reducing infrastructure-related costs
- The data transmission range is limited. PoE extenders may be required for large-scale operations
Standard Electrical Power
- Requires wiring to supply power at each device installation point
API
The AI Sound Box provides robust APIs for processing collected data, enhancing data accessibility and integration capabilities. Each edge server serves the central server for higher-level sound data processing and storing events.
